02. ABOUT

I'm a Senior Full-Stack Engineer based in Halifax, Canada, originally from Nepal.

Over the past 7+ years, I've worked across startups and product teams building SaaS products, internal platforms, and developer tools. My strongest stack is React, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails, with extensive work across the full stack.

At Event Temple, I helped lead a large migration from AngularJS to React, made key architectural decisions, and helped modernize a product used by thousands of hotel customers.

Outside of work, I enjoy building side projects, contributing to open source, and writing technical articles about engineering and product development.

Co-led a 2-year migration from AngularJS to React/Next.js with a 2-engineer team. Owned the architecture, the patterns, and the migration strategy. Migrated the Rails API to V2 with JSON:API standards.

› Built a reusable migration system that safely moves up to 1.5M records across complex relational schemas, enabling zero-downtime onboarding.
› Shipped Proposals and Guest Portal, contributing to $2M+ in multi-year enterprise contracts with hotel groups managing 200+ properties.
› Designed a 78 KB embeddable Preact widget with namespaced styles for seamless customer-site integration.
